「Focus」は、OWL optical のラインナップの中でも最も広い視野を確保したフラグシップモデルです。
上下方向の視界が非常に広く、まるでゴーグルをつけていないかのような自然な見え方で、雪山での滑走をより快適に、より自由に楽しめます。
搭載された調光レンズは、紫外線量に応じてレンズの濃さを自動調整。晴天・曇り・雪——どんなコンディションでも安定した視界を提供します。
さらにマグネット式レンズにより、誰でも簡単にレンズ交換が可能。曇りが気になる時も、素早くレンズを外して水滴を拭き取れるため、常にクリアな視界を保てます。
シリコンストラップによるズレ防止、アジアンフィット設計、日本人の顔に馴染みやすいフレームサイズにより、1日中快適にフィット。長時間の使用でもストレスを感じません。
多くのスノーゴーグルは、晴天率の高い欧米の雪山を基準に、「眩しさをいかに抑えるか」を軸に設計されています。
しかし、OWL Opticalはその前提を疑いました。事実、日本の雪山の冬の天候は、全くの逆です。
ニセコ・富良野・旭岳・トマム・八甲田・妙高・蔵王——主要7スキーエリアを気象庁の過去10シーズンのデータで分析すると、冬季（12〜2月）の滑走時間の実に70〜80%が、曇り・降雪の天候でした。最も高いニセコでは82%にのぼります※。
「JAPOW TUNE（ジャパウチューン）」は、この“曇り＆吹雪”を主なユースケースとして開発した、日本の雪専用のレンズです。クリアに近い明るい状態から濃い状態まで、VLT（可視光線透過率）15〜75%という広い範囲を1枚の調光レンズでカバー。曇りや降雪では最大75%まで光を取り込んで視界を確保し、晴天では15%まで自動で調光するため、天候が変わるたびにレンズを交換する必要はありません。
採用レンズには、「JAPOW TUNE」の刻印が入ります。
